Capacity increase for cullet recycling plant in Thailand
‘Recycle for the world’ is the slogan adopted by Siam Glass in Thailand. Germany’s ZIPPE is now part of this cycle, as it helps the glassmaker to avoid wasting valuable raw materials.
In recent weeks, a post-consumer glass recycling plant has been commissioned for Siam Cullet in Thailand. The ZIPPE contract comprised a recycling plant including metal and non-ferrous metal separation, a screen conveyor, organic separation, ceramic, stone and porcelain separation (CSP), as well as colour sorting. Capacity has now been increased to 45 tonnes/h. The plant will run 24h/day, 365 days/year and is operating to the customer’s full satisfaction.
