Webinar on successful sealing of facade transitions

Webinar on successful sealing of facade transitions

With energy regulations and climate policy targets establishing strict requirements for the construction of future buildings, selecting the most effective and a compatible system for controlling the presence of water, water vapour and achieving airtight transition seals in ventilated facades, curtain walls and window perimeter systems, can be a complex decision.

To this end, Dow is organising a webinar that will examine how buildings can be affected by water migration due to such factors as local climate and internal heating and cooling systems, all of which can contribute to excess and damaging condensation inside a structure.

The webinar will review how this may be controlled in various facade designs with proper specification and application of interior and exterior EPDM membranes.

Interested participants are invited to join Stanley Yee, Facade Design and Construction Scientist at Dow, who will present ‘A compatible system for sealing facade transitions – the DOWSIL Membrane Facade System’ live on 13 October 2020 at 14:00 Central European Time and at 16:00 pm Gulf Standard Time.

Participants are invited to register online.
