A decades long carbon assessment saw an 11% reduction in our CO2 emissions by 2019.
This laid the foundation for an ambitious roadmap that should lead to carbon neutrality.
An exhaustive study incorporating all the levers (mature and accessible technological solutions and, at the same time, more forward-looking R&D projects) were laid out with the help from Carbone 4, a benchmark for energy transition.
This roadmap, which is reviewed annually, is a guide for all operations, in particular regarding important investment decisions.
Saverglass has organized itself so that reduction objectives do not remain just an intention of the general management but they are embodied in each function and on each site.
Each employee of Saverglass will be able to participate and feel involved in this societal objective: by 2050, the company will be carbon neutral.
