Donations foster glass and ceramic innovations

The Air Products Foundation will donate $100 on behalf of each visitor to its hospitality suite at the 80th Conference on Glass Problems next month, up to $15,000. Recipients of the donation are the Ceramic and Glass Industry Foundation and the Glass Manufacturing Industry Council, for the purpose of fostering innovation by the next generation of ceramic and glass professionals.

The Conference on Glass Problems, which is presented by the GMIC, will take place on 28-31 October 2019, in Columbus, Ohio at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

"Air Products is committed to helping advance the ceramic and glass industries” commented Mike Pires, Director of Strategy, Marketing and Technology - Americas. “Our team continues to focus on enabling glass producers to improve their operations through innovative combustion and industrial gas-based technologies. Through this donation, we are investing in the development of future glass professionals."
