ZIPPE Industrieanlagen GmbH has been awarded a contract by the Tubing Division at Schott Glass India to upgrade an existing batch plant in Baruch. The batch house was originally installed by ZIPPE in 2000 but will now be enlarged by two additional sand silos, including advanced silo feeding, measuring and weighing, as well as transport.

The German contractor will execute the basic design of the silos, deliver the equipment and will be responsible for the building, as well as the control extension. Steel construction will be handled by the customer, with project ccommissioning planned for the middle of 2020.
