Processing equipment specialist cancels 2020 trade fairs participation
Flat glass processing machinery bellwether LiSEC is to cancel its participation at events and trade fairs in 2020, including this October’s glasstec show in Düsseldorf, Germany. Instead, the company has decided to host a virtual trade fair, where the all-in-one solutions offered by LiSEC are presented online to customers and other interested parties. This event will take place from 27 to 30 October 2020.
"Although, this was a tough decision, we are convinced that in these times, a virtual trade fair only offers advantages for all sides and makes a significant contribution to protecting the health and safety not only of our employees but also of our customers” says Gottfried Brunbauer, CEO of the LiSEC Group. “We are also trying to make a contribution to halting the progress of the (Covid-19) pandemic."
LiSEC sees the current Covid-19 crisis as an opportunity to break new ground and offer an innovative platform for interested parties and customers with the virtual trade fair. “Nowadays, digitalisation offers us extensive possibilities to create new forms of encounter” commented Oliver Pichler, CFO of the LiSEC Group. “In this virtual experience, interested parties and customers can expect a wide range of infotainment, insights into production, technical discussions and various interaction possibilities, including direct sales contact.”
