Vidrala grows transport fleet to reduce fuel consumption
As part of the Vidrala Logistics strategy, the company is working on a transversal plan that will include different emission reduction measures. The strategy will boost the growth of the transport fleet by 40% over the next three years, incorporating LNG trucks during 2022.
In addition, the plan will rely on synergies to achieve circular management material returns, enabling a 4% annual reduction in fuel consumption over the next three years.
Vidrala is aiming to reduce its Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 47%, and its Scope 3 emissions by 28% by 2030, helping prevent the worst effects of climate change and future proofing the company.
