Şişecam Wins Facade Material of the Year Award
Şişecam Flat Glass has received the "Facade Material of the Year Award" for the eighth time with its Temperable Solar Control Low-E Glass Neutral 70/37 which was developed for the architectural category as a result of R&D studies.
With 1.0 U value, the glass maximizes energy savings by providing outstanding thermal insulation and efficient solar control. Neutral 70/37 provides high light transmittance while reducing the need for artificial lighting.
With its outstanding thermal insulation and solar control performance, the glass reduces heat loss and decreases solar energy transmission by 50% compared to ordinary IGUs, creating comfortable living spaces in summer and winter by saving heating and cooling costs.
In addition, Şişecam has recently introduced Solar Control Low-E Glass Neutral 50/33 which creates comfortable living areas by providing optimum light transmittance, efficient solar and heat control.
The glass also reduces heat loss by 50% compared to an ordinary IGU providing effective heat insulation in winter. Decreased solar energy transmission by 45% compared to ordinary IGU is also achieved.
Neutral 50/33 has also the same colour and performance in temperable form which can be used in the same project.
