AvanStrate Launches AvanRhino Cover Glass
AvanStrate has introduced AvanRhino Cover Glass in their latest product portfolio. The new cover glass provides consumers with an exceptional drop and scratch performance and can be used in smartphones, laptops, tablets and automobile monitors.

The AvanRhino cover glass uses the lithium aluminosilicate composition with addition of boron oxide and silica to reach superior performance. Boron oxide reduces the softening point (838°C) enabling easier 3D forming and reduces the coefficient of thermal expansion, thereby increasing the thermal shock resistance. Silica increases the glass transition temperature which results in enhanced ion exchange range and better strength performance. The AvanRhino cover glass achieves a drop performance of 1.2m onto rough surfaces. It also has a higher scratch resistance.
