Dynamic glass wins award for innovation and excellence

Saint-Gobain’s innovative SageGlass Harmony dynamic glass has won a FacilitiesNet Vision Award in the Exteriors category. Vision Awards recognise innovation and excellence in products that contribute to the efficient and profitable operation and management of institutional and commercial buildings in the USA.

The Harmony glazing solution provides precise glare and daylight control through a natural, seamless in-pane tint transition that blocks up to 99% of glare and 91% of solar heat.

“People are spending more of their lives indoors, which we know impacts occupant wellbeing” commented Dr Alan McLenaghan, CEO of SageGlass. “Through a smooth visual aesthetic, Harmony offers sweeping views, while promoting energy-efficient thermal comfort – providing cost savings for building owners, without making a space feel too dark. We’re honoured to be recognised for the unique value our product brings to building occupants and owners alike.”

All entries submitted for the awards were reviewed and judged by an independent panel of facility executives on four criteria: Tenant satisfaction, technological advancements, efficiency/productivity and cost savings.
