ENGIE Romania and Saint-Gobain Romania develop PV park

ENGIE Romania will contribute to the decarbonization efforts of Saint-Gobain Romania, by developing a photovoltaic park and by providing green energy. In this way, Saint-Gobain reduces CO2 emissions in its manufacturing processes.

The ground-mounted photovoltaic panels will provide approximately 20% of the electricity needs of the glass factory in Călărași, avoiding over 2,400 tons of CO2 per year.

The amount of green energy produced is estimated at over 14 GWh/year.
