German household glassware furnace rebuilt
HORN Glass Industries recently completed a furnace repair for Ritzenhoff AG, one of Germany’s leading high-tech household glassware factories.
The site produces up to 50 million glasses annually on four production lines.
A 30 tonnes/day end-fired furnace for crystal glass has been modified, together with its two production lines and partly equipped with HORN furnace equipment. HORN also supplied the heating equipment, as well as state-of-the-art measuring and safety technology.
The order comprised everything from furnace drain to demolition and tempering, which were carried out by HORN experts and external service providers.
