Rubin Invests in a Capacity to Meet Growing Demand
Rubin Glass is increasing capacity through the building of a new furnace with capacity of 300tpd with two triple and two double gob high-speed lines. With this investment operational the Bulgarian company will be able to increase production capacity by 80%. The expected launch date of the furnace will be at the beginning of 2024.
Rubin Glass is using technical support from Empakglass and Empak Bulgaria Ltd, for the new furnace and production lines construction and team training. This will include prior to the actual start-up training programmes for supervisor and operator levels covering product development, mould design: batch, furnace and forehearth operation; and cold end and quality. After the startup Empak will provide online IS production assistance, cold end and quality onsite assistance.
