Senior management transition at flaconnage specialist
Carletta Heinz has taken over as CEO of the Heinz-Glas Group from her father, Carl-August Heinz, continuing the family business in the 13th generation.
Carl-August Heinz managed the group for 43 years and has agreed to be available as a consultant for the time being, due to the current Covid-19-related situation.
The glassmaking tradition of the Heinz family goes back to 1523. Today, the Heinz-Glas and Plastics Group is a global leader in the manufacture and finishing of glass bottles and closures for the perfume and cosmetics industry.
With 16 sites worldwide in 12 countries, roughly 3300 employees generate an annual turnover of more than €300 million.
“Carletta, as my daughter, as well as my successor in the company management, I wish you much luck and joy, over hopefully good and happy processes, for strength in unfortunate outcomes of plans and decisions made, happiness and courage to keep looking forward in case of setbacks” Carl-August Heinz commented following the announcement.
