The Glass Manufacturing Industry Council has announced student travel grants for the 81st Conference on Glass Problems, which is scheduled to take place in Columbus, Ohio on 26-30 October 2020.

Travel grants are available on a first come, first served basis, provided applicants meet eligibility requirements.

Air Products has provided a generous grant to fund the programme, which receives additional support from GMIC and RoMan Manufacturing.

As well as receiving complimentary conference registration and a reduced price for lodging, eligible students are awarded $500 grants to offset travel expenses. Students can also attend a plant tour of the O-I glass container plant in Zanesville, Ohio on 26 October.
