NSG’s vanity mirror with anti-fouling coating technology has been adopted in the Executive Lounge grades for the new Toyota Alphard and Vellfire which were released on 21 June 2023.

A vanity mirror is a small mirror usually installed behind the sun visors in the front seats and the popular accessory is also installed in the rear seats of the Executive Lounge grades for Alphard and Vellfire. With the full model change, convenience has been enhanced by integrating the mirror into the table on the second-row seat instead of the conventional ceiling mounting.

While the mirror is closer to the user's hand and making it easier to use, there was a disadvantage that fingerprints or other contaminants tend to be more likely to adhere to it, making it more conspicuous. The solution was NSG’s proprietary anti-fouling coating technology with oil-repellent functionality, which makes it less likely for oil or dirt to adhere to the mirror surface, and the mirror surface can be kept clear by light wiping.

In addition, NSG's products are used for all glazings of the Alphard and Vellfire, with our glass products and these support the realization of a high-quality and luxurious interior space.
