DK Holdings Investment in Green Energy

DK Holdings have fitted another 585 solar panels to their ISO-accredited production facilities in the United Kingdom, now enabling the company to produce 33% of energy required to run the site annually via solar power.

We continuously strive to reduce our carbon footprint through several initiatives and investments,” said Darren Mills, Finance Director of the diamond tools and precision engineering component firm. “We installed our first set of solar panels in October 2015 and the aim was always to increase the capacity. The additional panels will ensure an estimated annual CO2 emission saving of 60tCO2e/year, the equivalent of planting 2,770 trees, which we are particularly proud."

We have other measures in the pipeline for 2023 to further reduce our environmental impact and ensure we do our bit for future generations and will share more details in due course,” Mr Mills concludes.
