Merger completed of French and Italian lubrication specialists
Condat SA and Kemno have reached the closing date of an agreement giving Condat ownership of the Italy-based lubricants company Kemno.
Kemno, like Condat, is a family-owned company. Created in 2004 by Novati siblings, the Italian firm specialises in the production of neat and soluble coolants.
Active primarily in the cold heading business, Kemno also offers metal working fluids, maintenance oils and greases, as well as quenching oils.
Thanks to continued partnerships with OEM and tooling providers, its lubricants range is a reference in the Italian market for the company’s ability to increase tool life and reduce oil consumption.
The recent acquisition by Lyon-based Condat Group gives Kemno opportunities to expand, backed by an international and stable group.
The arrangement also allows the Condat Group to strengthen its diversification strategy in Italy, particularly in the fastener and machining sector. Important synergies will be exploited.
Condat Italia has been created to deliver optimal local quality and service.
