Heinz-Glas opens up new possibilities for the idea of sustainability.

Heinz-Glas opens up new possibilities for the idea of sustainability.

With the "All4One" glass jar concept, Heinz-Glas uses a modular refill design which, in contrast to established plastic refill inserts, relies entirely on glass.

The concept is based on a glass jar in which four interchangeable glass inserts can be used depending on product application. These inserts can be filled with different contents such as perfume, make-up, cream lotion as well as room fragrances. The advantage is, no matter what configuration, glass refill inserts can be easily exchanged in the outer design glass jar. On their own the inserts are an ideal and lightweight travel companion. Thus, All4One offers the perfect symbiosis of a high-quality packaging in the private bathroom and portability on the go.

Britvic and Encirc act on unnecessary pallets waste

ritvic and Encirc act on unnecessary pallets waste

Encirc is working with beverages giant, Britvic, to trial the removal of plastic shroud packaging on its drinks pallets set for the retail sector. It is estimated that this will remove 2,000 tonnes of plastic packaging from the retail supply chain every year while proving that 100% recyclable pallets are viable.

Encirc will also replace single-use cardboard which layers the pallets with reusable plastic that can be washed following the delivery. This could remove a potential 24kg of cardboard per pallet from the supply chain and contribute to Britvic’s circular packaging goals.
